Privacy Policy

Effective 16 July 2026

The short version: Itermark is local-first. Your projects and progress photos live on your device — there is no account and no cloud upload. The app sends anonymous counts of which features get used — never your photos, project names, or notes — and you can switch that off in Settings. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We don’t sell data and we don’t track you across apps or sites.

1. Who we are

Itermark is made by Neon Tiger Labs LLC, a California limited liability company. In this policy, “we” refers to Neon Tiger Labs LLC; “the app” refers to the Itermark iOS app, and “the site” to the itermark.app website.

2. What the app stores on your device

Everything you put into Itermark stays on your device: your projects, progress photos, entry dates and notes, alignment adjustments, and settings. Photos are stored as files in the app’s private storage; project details are stored in an on-device database. There is no account, no sync, and no Neon Tiger Labs server — we cannot see this data because it never leaves your phone. It is included in your normal device backup. Deleting the app deletes it.

3. Anonymous usage counts

The app sends anonymous product-interaction counts through TelemetryDeck: which features are used and how often. This is how we learn whether the app is worth continuing to build.

What is never included: your photos, filenames, project names, custom category names, entry notes, and capture dates. Counts are sent in coarse buckets (1, 2–5, 6–20, 21+) rather than exact numbers, so the size of your project is not identifiable. There is no account, so nothing is joined to an identity, and no advertising identifier is used.

Turning it off: Settings › Privacy › Share Usage Counts. When it is off the app initialises no analytics client at all — it is not merely suppressed.

Apart from this and Apple’s own StoreKit machinery for purchases, the app makes no network requests.

4. Camera and photo library

Itermark asks for camera access to take progress photos, photo-library access to import existing photos, and add-only photo access to save reveals you create. These permissions are used at your request, for those actions, and nothing else. You can revoke them any time in iOS Settings.

5. Sharing and export

Photos and reveals leave the app only when you choose — via the iOS share sheet, saving to your photo library, or exporting a project as a ZIP archive. Where they go from there is up to you.

6. Purchases

Premium is sold by Apple through the App Store (auto-renewing subscription or one-time lifetime unlock). Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. The app checks your entitlement with Apple’s StoreKit on-device. Apple’s own privacy policy governs its processing.

7. The website

itermark.app is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers. Standard web-server logs (IP address, request path) may exist transiently at our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) for security and operations.

8. Children

Itermark is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — child or adult.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
